Staff Rules

To refrain from recurring incidents of "was this allowed" or "GMs are too lazy."

Crudely refined, staff are to set an example for the players. Keep the peace. Give support. The basics are simple.

[Staff Rules]

1. Be respectful, calm, and mature at all times. Maintain a professional attitude and conduct yourself likewise by refraining from taking any criticism personally.

2. Maintain effective communication between staff and the community. Including keeping up to date on announcements, informing administrators of your availabilities, and ensuring players will receive support when needed.

3. Refrain from using any racist, derogatory or vulgar language, or intentions meant to deliberately antagonize others with no agreeable basis.

4. Refrain from partaking in favoritism, or any other biases.

5. Actively uphold the rules. Give warnings, jail, ban, or revoke bans as you see necessary. Always give reasons; "no reason" or "pwned" are unacceptable.

6. Host events.

We want everyone to have fun. When I say everyone, it means just that; players and staff. To the players, please do not have cause to be intimidated by Admins or GMs. Staff are no less human than everyone else. Our goal is to give you a better playing experience. We, of course, need your help, so follow the rules, and feel free to speak up about anything and everything.

Lets just hope everyone follows these rules after all favoritism got me banned in SummerStory -_-

To be honest? We have our moments. We're still human, and humans make mistakes. Imagine yourself being harassed. To provoke automatically makes the perpetrator at fault as well.

Either way, this was in the past. Fresh start.

I just want to make it clear that Summerstory and Edenstory are now two separate servers, with no current affiliations. Please do not advertise, harass or spam the server or forums saying "Oh I just wanna convert people" or of any kind, because that's over now, doing that now would be low and disrespectful.

Tyler is in charge now, don't flame him. We don't want to be enemies, some of us still actually have ties with Summerstory.

Maybe if things go well, Summerstory could affiliate itself with Edenstory, but for now we are two separate severs with no connections whatsoever.

I wouldn't like to see GMs giving out items to their friends without donating or winning an event. It happened quite a bit in SMS.
